Project | The Blind Barber
The Blind Barber, I don’t ever go to barber shops (I go to Korean hair salons, typical Korean here) and even I’ve heard of them! They’re either really good or that’s great marketing. Posted up on the first floor of the Project show, The Blind Barber sets up shop and offered complimentary services from cut, shaves and trims to whomever, I wanted a cut… no, I needed a cut, but I was there to blog. The first day I went (second day of Project) I caught one of my style icons, Nick Wooster receiving a cut and I had to capture those moments!
Being that my mother was a hair stylist for over 20 years I’ve been around people who cut hair very often and I know just by the way they move their hips and wrist if they know what they are doing. If I may, these men can salsa and their hands and elbows move in confidence, no doubt that they’re professionals.
I’ve tried to capture a few candid moments of these two barbers working, check out the photos below.
